Michael Don is the author of the story collection Partners and Strangers (Carnegie Mellon University Press, 2019).

His stories and essays have appeared in journals such as The Southampton Review, World Literature Today, Baltimore Review, Fiction International, Southern Humanities Review, Washington Square Review, and the Brooklyn Review.

He is a professor at George Mason University, co-editor of Kikwetu: A Journal of East African Literature, and co-founder of Fox City Lit.

Michael grew up in St. Louis, Missouri.
